If you want to be extra-safe regarding pregnancy prevention, use a different second birth control method. Contraceptive sponges & spermicides are both available without a prescription.

Hey, I totally agree with you on this, although I thought I would advise against something. Using contraceptive sponges and/or spermicide with a condom are basically pointless, cause their effectiveness is only about 15% at best. Also, spermicide contains something called Nonoxynol-9, which the WHO has condemned because of the fact that it causes adverse reactions to many women who come in contact with it. It basically irritates the vagina like crazy in many people, causing tearing. As you should all know, open wounds are great transmission sites for diseases! (this is why people who engage in anal sex are at a higher risk for contracting diseases...the anus tears easily) I want to spread the word around about spermicide, because no company should ethically be producing it. Avoid spermicide at all costs. It has a huge failure rate and it can increase the risk of contracting an STI. You will thank me later.
