I was never into dancing and didn't go to any of the typical school dances, but I went to 4 proms; girlfriend's junior/senior and my junior/senior (she was a year ahead of me). I don't know about now but back then, in the mid '80's, everyone went to "The Prom", even us stoners. Like Mac and Plant have said, it's about the experience. And, I'd be willing to bet that if you asked 100 people in their 30's who did go, and 100 people in their 30's that didn't go, a lot more people would regret not going than going.
Fengzi Reviewed by Fengzi on . prom? At my school, and I'm sure many other highschools, They have already begun the talk of prom. Groups have already put their names down for beach houses down in Galveston and apparently "know" who they are going with even though it's in late April. So far, in my entire highschool career up to this point, I haven't even been invited to a single "real" party (involving alchohal and the such)and I'm pretty sure that won't be happening before the end of the year, I see no point in making any effort Rating: 5
