isn't that a bit ridiculous?

i don't buy so i am openly clueless about the market
but even here (nyc) that seems nuts.

i once payed 350 for an ounce but thats the most....and that ounce went to other people as i got richer....if u kno wut i mean...so i felt fine doing it.

but yeah either thats the best weed in the world (doubtful) or ur friend got hecka ripped

the nice thing about nyc is that you can ask for anything and actually get it.....if you have the $$$

Man my friends were talking about paying $50 an 1/8th in Indiana and NY for good shit. I don't doubt prices get really insane there for quality bud. I mean USD$50 is more than double what I pay here, CAD$25 so if you can pay over CAD$200 an oz here I don't doubt they get over USD$400 there.

It's not a rip if it really is the Kyle Kushman Strawberry Cough. Pounds of OG Kush go for $6000 in SoCal, so it's not shocking to see an area with a similar expensive standard of living with similar pot prices. Also, delivery services in NY purportedly sell 2 grams for $60, which is way more out of line than your friend's purchase...

I think you have hit the nail on the head.
I've heard of prices like that for excellent quality ganj, and I know NYC is higher than where I live, so that is not hard to believe.
I mean, in New York, girlies will shell out $200 for a pair of shwanky designer jeans... there's always a market for luxury if the market is big enough!
Although IMO ... strawberry cough? For that cash I would be after something a little more classic and less trendy. I know for a fact that around here SAGE retails for $400 an ounce, often without the ounce discount.

I live in indiana and $50 and 1/8 is norm for good quality. It sucks that it isnt around here all the time though...

There is; I used to grow it... kind of a delicate twitchy plant that didn't like my setup (high temps) at ALL and then the dog ate my mother plant and put her out of her misery.
Flavor like strawberry cough syrup. Too trendy.
