He was only shot at nine times...but only 3 hit. I believe it was 1 in his leg, 1 in his pelvis, and 1 in his jaw.

edit/ p.s: The real 50 cent was a thug that grew up in Harmlem who would rob crack dealers. He got shot multiple times on multiple occasions by the cops. He was eventually shot to death (by the police I think).
