While trailers often look better than the movie turns out ... I am excited about this one ... based upon Frank Millers graphic novel. I've always been a big fan of the Spartans.

Due to my family's history mostly residing in the PeloponnesusI have educated myself on the Spartans quite a bit. And a few years ago I found and purchased the small comic series which this movie is based on. I have to say that they made the actors look EXACTLY like the characters in the comic. I hope this is as good as Sin City. Frank miller's a genius.

There's pretty much no doubt in my mind that this movie will be one of the best this year.

we learned about the battle it was based on in ancient Greece class. No joke, this small of Spartan soldiers held their ground in a canyon as wave after wave of Persian foot soldiers came at them, they literally killed thousands on their own

The best part is this is somewhat accurate.. 300 Spartans, took on a giant army of Persians. Then again the first casualty in war is the truth.

But im with everyone else it looks bad ass and without a doubt ill be seeing it.

It looks good and kinda reminds me of the game God of War what with him being a spartan and all
