Omigod she snapped!
I've had split branches (clean break, not crimp) heal enough via splinting to support their own weight within 1 week. During veg. (dunno about during bud) Call it 10 days to be safe. Usually heals as a nice jagged ring of scar tissue, and can be stronger at that point that original branch.

If I snap meristem, I never try to fix it; and simply call it topped. The top can then be cloned or budded. So can't tell ya for sure, but imagine it'd be the same as the branches.
