you have to have fat to catch the released thc... i'm sure adding the bud in would make them a slight bit more powerful, but generally, what your friend did is the right method.

What he ended up doing was heating it up with the oil in a pan just before the boiling point and then used a coffee filter to catch the weed and drain the weed oil into the mix. Is this the correct way to make them or are you supposed to include the bud in the mix also? I always thought you were supposed to put the weed in also. Rating: 5
