HOw do u hold joints

It's hard not to hold it like the guy is holding it in the first pic. I don't know why but I always hold it like that until it's like really small. Then I hold it like the one on the 2nd pic lol.

For the first few hits I start off on 1 and then at a random time I switch to 2

ill usally alternate between the two but alot of the time i hold it like number one inbetween my index and middle finger and i hold my cig in my middle finger and ring finger while im smokign a joint

I rotate between the two involuntarily...

and sometimes on the same joint. One pass I'll hold it like a smoke, the second I'll hold it 'like a joint'
