When you have sex at 15, you don't discuss it like normal people. You don't have the capacity to discuss it. You say this with great certainty, but I think you're full of baloney or you're completely incapable of looking at this from any perspective other than your own myopic one. I had sex as a teenager of 17, and we discussed it before it happened. So did all my friends and so have a lot of my son's friends. It might be awkward if the person you're thinking of having sex with is a perfect stranger and a sudden hookup. But if it's someone you're in a relationship with, it is possible. When I was a kid, we had to talk about it to figure out what we were going to attempt and what we weren't. And we had to figure out birth control and a place where we could be alone. Kids can and do discuss it. And if they feel like they can't, they need to at least try. If they're feeling awkward about it, chances are they're not to a point where they're ready to be having sex. Maybe that would have been awkward for you, but for plenty of kids it isn't a problem.
