Drip System?
Wondering if anyone has had any experiance with hydro drip systems, I am putting together a 5x5 grow room with a 400w mh & hps. Also water times how many in a 24hr period. Are the drip systems on ebay ok? Any other recommendation systems? Thank You!!

Drip System?
I drip, never seen the ones on ebay. When I used advanced nutrients the guy at the hydro store told me to water (4) times a day at 15 minutes each time spaced out evenly through the light on stage.

Water scheduals depend on what grow medium you use, the more absorbant the meduim the less u have to water, its trial and error, run the system and when it gets dry thats when u water again set the time. I personally like the shiftmake rubbermaids, but i also like hydro trays, use the search engine on the forum.

I drip and I leave it on 24/7 which can be ideal if you have good drainage and the res temp is warm. Warm roots 24/7 = fast growing plants. If you use rockwool just make sure you have a watering once every 4-6 hours as a general rule of thumb. perlite alone/ hydroton can be 24/7. And depending on how good your drainage is you should only have to water coco once a day but I have never been able to over water it. The key is drainage.

If you have a hardware store nearby check for something similar to what's in the link below. Oddly its in the Plumbing section and not Lawn and Garden. Home depot has a 10 plant system for less than ten bucks, and you can also buy all the pieces individually to create your own. Hope this helps..
