oxygen absorbers
anyone know what im talking about? you find them in beef jerky and other foods that come with a resealable bag. so i had an idea (im sure im not the first) but i thought if i threw one in with my nugs in my jar would it help perserve the bud a little? anyways ive had it in there a day or two and i have to say it hasnt hurt it yet from what i see. i figured its not toxic because it comes in food all the time and we eat that so why would it affect the bud? and since oxygen is what dries out bud making it spoil....what if you know?

Actually, it is very toxic, Read the packet, I bet you a $100 is says on there, "DO NOT EAT."
I'm sure it wouldn't do any harm doing that, buty if you want to keep it fresh, just out the bud in an airtight container.

You're thinking of silica gel. I don't eat beef jerky, but i sure hope it's not silica gel in a bag with food. Would the fda really approve something so dumb? Perhaps.
You don't need to "preserve" your weed. It's already been dried and cured. Just don't get it wet again and it's fine as is.

All I know, is that I use shredded bacon bits, and in the bottom, it has a packet that feels like salt or something, and on it, it says, "DO NOT EAT", so I'm guessing something must go wrong if you eat some.
Who knows, but she is right, you don't need to preserve your weed.
