need help pls from guru
What your going to want to do is to get your mother plants growing if you dont have them already. while you are growing your mother plants you will want to apply some LST (low stress training) by tying down the branches or the main stalk to get more tops. there is pleanty of info. on this site about it. lets say 5 of those 10 seed are female, out of those five mothers you will be cloning, all at the same time. once your mothers have the amount of tops you want (i.e. 10 tops off of 4 plants will give you 40 clones), you will want to take all the cutting of off ALL BUT ONE mother plant. the reason for saving this other is so you can produce more clones in the future and keep the strain.
once you have cut all your clones, let them root (its a good idea to always over estimate your amount of clones due to the fact some clones wont root). the reason to take all the clones at the same time is that they will all have the same life cycle, which will result in a nice, even canopy through their grow and all your plants will yield at the same time. hope this helps. good luck.
SCsantacruz_organic Reviewed by santacruz_organic on . need help pls from guru ok so here's what i have 2 1000 watt hps lights for flowering. i have another room 12x12 that i will be using for clones/ mothers. i am planning on putting a 400 watt hps that will run 18/6 on the mothers and then have 2 or more floro lights running on clones on a heated pad in a humidome. i will be planting in 1.5"x1.5" rockwool cubes. When the clones are rooted they will be placed under the 400 watt hps and kept in veg mode with the mothers. i want to get as many clones as possible in Rating: 5
