TEA! Double bergamot Earl Gray, Jasmine green, spiced and flavored in dozens of different ways! Tea is good! It calms the nerves, lifts the spirits and is just plain good for you! (skip the milk- it wipes out the health benefits, just like in chocolate.) I sweeten my teas with stevia, an extract of a natural herb. It too has some health benefits, especially for diabetics. Stevia is SO sweet that when you open the jar, you can taste it from the dust that has gotten in the air! I put about 1/50th of a teaspoon in a pint/liter mug of tea. I use a 1/4 teaspoon measuring spoon and get just a little crescent of the stevia on the spoon and that is plenty! I get the pure stevia from Owl's Nest Plantation on the net- you might want to try the SweetLeaf brand, though (at any health food store). They cut theirs with a soluable fiber so it is easier to measure. I also drink red tea which is even better for you than green tea, but has no caffeine. Chamomile, fenugreek and other herbal teas are also good and often good for you.- Granny:stoned:
