Baths will not harm your cat.....although you may want to wear armour....we bathe them all the time at the vet hospital due to skunks, overdoses of flea killer, grease and oil (use Dawn) etc.... Just make sure you dry kitty off as well as possible and don't let them sit around in a draft or something while they dry.
