It powerful enough to do the task! Just hook it to the timer with the light and let it come on with the light and go off with the light!
Ga Grown!GaGrown Reviewed by GaGrown on . Ventilation Duct Fan For COOLTUBE Question I'm hoping to use it to make a cooltube for a 400w HPS, alternatively a 250HPS. Will this do? These are the specs: TD 160/100. 2 speed: 2500/2100 v/min. Effect 35/23 W. Decibel 39/35 dB(A). Max. air: 160 m³/tim. Rating: 5

Ventilation Duct Fan For COOLTUBE Question
if i did the calculation rght the fan you got is about 91cfm at the high speed. that is about the same as the fan i 1st tried to use with my 400hps before i upgraded. as i said it works but not as good as a cooltube should with a more powerful fan on it. i got through a grow with it without problem before i upgraded. this is what i upgraded to it's only 15bucks more than the 1 you linked. Ventilation Duct Fan For COOLTUBE Question
If your gonna vent the space your using then a 265 or a 465 will work best for you! If you are gonna vent the tube? Then have it blowing ant the mogul end and exiting via a duct. The shorter the better! If it's flex then pull it tight! Less restriction that way.I use a 265 and a tempstat by my light hood and it only runs for about 5 mins. tops! I have a fairly large space, too! I'm about to post a pic for ya!

Ventilation Duct Fan For COOLTUBE Question
All you need is an entrance for air! Don't really need a fan blowing in as long as you have a fan blowing air about the room! It'll save ya some on the electricity bill.
