I just remembered, my Shamanist friend told me about using some plant called mugwart. He'd absorb it into a bandanna and wrap it around his head right before he went to sleep and it would give him trippy-ass dreams.

I am well into exploring the dream world, and using cannabis as an aid to induce astral projection during sleep. I try to abstain from indulging in sexual activities as much as I can as I beleive this also helps. Anyway, I'm not going to get into that now. man this is a badass thread first off. yea i used to always become aware that i was dreaming and then do watever the hell i wanted haha pretty badass...not as much now and also i do get that running really slow effect in my dreams too. someone mentioned that. one thing i miss is just willing myself to fly or being under water like it was normal. doesnt happen as much or at all now that i think of it...maybe its because im older or somethin well keep this shit goin i wanna hear more peoples experiences and cool shit haha

Dude...i know exactly what u mean...I had a dream last night, and i went to hit someone in the face, and it felt like..when u try to punch underwater.

most people i think dont experience
if they did there would be much more talk about this

i am someone who dont beleve in shit unless ive done it or seen it
my friend turned me on to the subject and at first i didnt comprehend
but one night i had this dream and i knew i was dreaming
my friend used to tell me that if you can say your name in your dream
or even look at your hands when your dreaming you will realize that your asleep and take control of your dream.

whatever the fuck i did or just happened but i will never forget that feeling
i flew from the ground to the sky like a bird and i could feel wind in my face
and gravity and i seen the city lights from above

it was awesome and since that day i am so curiuos about the human brain

Ya it is so fucking interesting when you realize you are dreaming. I've had a few dreams were I realized I was dreaming and I was running around my street incredibly fast and jumping around (low gravity) I hope reading this sparks something unconsiously(sp?) and I have a nice lucid dream tonight. You can do whatever you want its like being in reality but you are God and you can manipulate things. Some people have conditions where they have lucid dreams and I have read stories about how a guy was dreaming and he imagined a taxi cab and he good manipulate anyway he wanted to and could look at all of it and stuff. Sometimes lucid dreams can happen by luck like with me, sometimes you just realize that you are dreaming and when you do make sure you have fun because its a thrill reality wont let you achieve!

maybe I'm just a fatass, but I've had a few lucid dreams where there is like, a HUGE feast, and it's all like, REALER than real, and it all looks so gooooood, and I've got the WORST munchies of all time (like, unnaturally bad), but then when you go to dig in, YOU FUCKIN WAKE UP. that shit pisses me off SO bad, and then all day you're still hungry, but nothing looks tasty. pisses me off much... bastards

One time i had a lucid dream, in which i was in the world of Dragon Ball Z.

I was in my old primary school playground.

And me and everyone else were 'Training' and everyone laughed at me for not being powerful and the fact that i made a lot of vocals while 'powering up'.

I then got really angry and turned super sayan and destroyed everyone, each person were in the form of bad characters, like Cell and freeza and shit.

I felt so powerful and incontrol. Nothing could stop me.

Then i woke up. And got really disapointed that it wasn't real.

Whoa weird I had a very similar dream that I felt in control of where I was really muscular and I could fly and do the kamehameha blue laser thing from dragon ball z. It was sweet.

On another note what about the kind of little dream type things where you fall down the stairs or onto the sidewalk or something and you wake up scared as shit with your heart pounding? I hate that.

i can wake my self up from dreams to and also go about halfway awake and i dont really kno how to explain it but its like i kno im dreaming but i cant do anything and its like im watching my dream from a 3ed person view and i can see what i kno is myself but doesnt look like me and from there i can wake myself up

i hate those dreams where your being chased, and your eyes wont open, and when they do, its all blurry and it stings... i wish i could change that..

i always change stuff in my dreams, but i dont change the 'lighting' lol
