If you are talking about becoming a medical marijuana user with a recommendation, well if you are sick, it is quite easy in California. First, you talk to your own doctor. When he refuses to give you a recommendation, you politely ask for a copy of your medical records. After you get them, go to NORML's web site and look at their list of cannabis specialists. Pick one and make an appointment. Take your medical records to the specialist. It will run you about $100 to $250 for the coast of the exam and the recommendation. The California card is NOT required, if you choose not to get one, carry a copy of your recommendation with you at all times. I do not trust our government enough to get one yet. If you are really sick, it is quite easy to get a recommendation in California. However, my cannabis specialist will not give recommendations to minors unless unless both parents (or the sole custodial parent) are with the minor and sign that they agree to this course of treatment. If you are not really sick, become an activist and get it legalized! - Granny :stoned:
