Weed Tea?

hey so im not to savy on the whole edible cannabis scene, and i was wondering, if i was to take a nug, and put it in a cup of boiling water, and let it steep for a while, would it work well to feel the affects or would i be wasting a nug? are the effects of eating cannabis different than that of smoking? just clarifying. thanks a lot

Eating cannabis makes it about 3x as potent as smoking. THC is not water soluble, so weed tea would be a waste of good weed.

The THC can be broken down in fats/oil and alcohol.

Look on the recipe forums for some ideas.

Some THC will be disolved, but i can almost say with certainty not all of it.

Milk will work! There is a classic recipie ...I think its called bhang. look it up and let me know your results.
Make sure you use whole milk or cream for the higher fat content. good luck.

Do you really want to boil milk though?

not a hard boil...it will scold, but simmer it.
then pour it out of the pot ...don't scrape bottom of the pan because you will mix the bitter burnt part into the rest.

so all you would do is put some in a pot with whole milk and boil it, then pour it through a strainer to get the weed out?
