For the record, I actually didn't regard Friendowl's comments to me as disrespectful, but my fellow mod did, and our policy here is not to undo each other's decisions. This was a long and heated argument, and I was as passionate as anyone else participating in it--probably far more so--and now I feel terrible that it's ended this way. Friendowl, it wouldn't have been my personal decision to take the action against you that P4B did, but he's a little more old-fashioned about respect than I am. (Maybe it's also because I'm used to arguments. I have a college-aged son!) Most of you know me well enough to know that I'm smart enough to take care of myself verbally--and that I enjoy it when people disagree with me and put up a good fight.

My apologies to you Friendowl, and I hope you'll still come on back and give me as much argument as you want to. You did do that respectfully here, and I not only noticed that, I appreciated it. My apologies, too, to anyone else whose toes got stepped on here. With luck, maybe some good can come out of this ultimately. If just one person thinks a bit more about his behavior when it comes to using women or possibly taking advantage of one when there's a situation where too much alcohol has been involved, then I'll consider this a victory.

I'll close this thread now to stop any further disagreements. Peace to you all.

Agreed. This isn't the first thread he has let his true demeanor shine through. Last time, Birdgirl actually deleted some of his posts as a FAVOR because he was making a complete ass of himself. Some people just don't learn though.

I think someone has done the same for me, lol! My post gets deleted, I figure there's a good reason, so I don't even ask why. I just refrain from posting similar sh!t.. ..

He got banned because he disagreed with a mod? I've seen people here use the word nigger more than once which i know pisses off me and the other black people on this site off AND say much more rude things than what friendowl said. They werent banned and didnt have half the intelligence or life experiences he had. But as soon as one disagrees with a mod he is banned?

I see someone using that slang they don't return so don't feed me that shit! Fact is ol' boy was acting disrespectful which I considered a personal attack. Against guidelines.....then he returned with a burn to me and Billionfold and more/less asked for it. Well he got his wish for the day!

Are you sure of that? I haven't ever deleted any of Friendowl's posts! Or maybe you were talking about someone else's. If you were, let me know here before I close this thread. But I've not ever deleted any of Friendowl's posts. There's never been reason to!
