Well, he originally posted this story in the main Lounge, and I moved it to Sexuality once I happened upon it. By now, the "moved" notation has long since disappeared. So he may not know where it is. Still, if he's bright enough to do a search of his own threads, he can find it.

Several of these subsequent responses give me hope, guys. Glad not all of you are out to nail wasted girls. And I think Hagbard Celiene's links made an excellent point about what sorts of guys to look for. It's true, 2600Hertz, the thoughtful guys are more difficult to find, especially during the college partying days.

Some of you guys, I suspect, are full of baloney. But you're also showing how low a level you'll sink to to nail girls if the only ones you can do are so drunk that they're not aware of what they're doing. These stories, by the way, aren't "hilarious," Junkyard and Valkyrie. They're actually quite sad.

Smokin Dope, I've said this to you before on the subject of train-running, which you continue to brag about like it's an accomplishment. Any girl who's letting a bunch of guys do that has something very wrong with her. Girls aren't built to do that, emotionally or physically. Women who let guys run the train are likely either drunk or have been damaged by previous horrible things that cause them not to have any self-esteem or ability to discriminate between healthy and unhealthy intimacy. There are guys who can justify it in their minds, obviously, and I'm sure there may be women who behave as if they're having great fun at that activity. Talk to someone at your nearest university's rape crisis center and find out what that sort of sexual activity means on an emotional level to the women who participate in it. It's not good.

As far as twosomes or tag-teams are concerned, at least where you're involved, Smokin D, I've never read anything you've written that indicates you're interested in ladies for any other reason than sex or what you can get over on them for. I strongly suspect, assuming you're not totally making this story up, that you somehow hook up with ladies who have the lowest possible self-esteem and standards. Someday I hope for their sakes that you'll grow up and develop character, a heart, and decency. Until you do, I hope very much that everyone's using lots of protection against venereal diseases and unwanted pregnancies.

It's not drunken mishaps that trouble me, Junkyard. It's the underlying attitudes toward ladies that are unsettling. I'm all for laughing at drunken mishaps. Just perhaps not when they're at someone else's sexual expense. Especially someone who's so drunk she probably doesn't even know what--or who--she's doing. I worry about the girls who let themselves get into these situations, and I know they're everywhere. But still, I know they're not healthy situations for the ladies to be in.

If you sense puritanical atitudes, Darkside, then you're reading those into what I'm saying. I'm very open-minded when it comes to sex, and I fully believe adults should be allowed to do what they want and that women can and should enjoy sex under any and all circumstances that are enjoyable. What I will forever maintain is that when a girl is too drunk to know what she's doing, she's not really having consensual sex. You may not yet be mature enough to understand where this is coming from, but if you'll do some reading and research--and some talking to women on college campuses--you'll see I know what I'm talking about and am not being judgemental here. I've done a good many years of volunteer counseling at a women's crisis center and have also now taken enough psychopathology classes to know that that girls who're running trains with multiple partners aren't operating from a healthy, whole place. They're basically enduring a form of abuse, even if they don't realize it. And women who're so wasted that they end up having sex with just one unknown guy they wouldn't choose to have sex with under normal, sober circumstances are also enduring an unfortunate experience, even if it's not one that constitutes a form of abuse.

If anything, any negative attitudes I have are directed at the harm that's caused by alcohol to the point that someone's so out of her mind she doesn't really know what--or who--she's doing. There's no intimacy there, and while I know emotional intimacy often doesn't come into play for young folks, it's very important to the bigger lifelong sexual picture. And it's very, very important for young women to be conscious and aware of the partners they're choosing so they're making those choices from a healthy, aware place and not because of dangerously low self-esteem that sets them up for being used. Believe it or not, those early sexual experiences can affect women's self-esteem and sexual enjoyment for the rest of their lives.

You need to educate yourself a bit more about this subject, Darkside. Read about the part alcohol plays in regrettable hookups, unwanted pregnancies, venereal diseases, and, often, date rapes. You'll find that I know what I'm talking about here. And don't misinterpret me again and say that I was saying anyone in the above stories was a victim of date rape. That's not what I'm saying at all. I'm simply saying that young people--women especially--do themselves a great disservice when they get so wasted that they're no longer able to exercise their discretion in choosing sexual partners. And I'm saying that women who run the train with multiple partners have likely been victims in the past--and are allowing themselves to be victimized again by train-running, even if they don't yet realize that.
