    Should I be worried...

Well today upon reading my email I came across this.

    Dear Comcast High-Speed Internet Subscriber:

Comcast has received a notification by a copyright owner, or its authorized
agent, reporting an alleged infringement of one or more copyrighted works made
on or over Comcast's High-Speed Internet service (the 'Service'). The copyright
owner has identified the Internet Protocol ('IP') address associated with your
Service account at the time as the source of the infringing works. The works
identified by the copyright owner in its notification are listed below. Comcast
reminds you that use of the Service (or any part of the Service) in any manner
that constitutes an infringement of any copyrighted work is a violation of
Comcast's Acceptable Use Policy and may result in the suspension or termination
    of your Service account.

For more information regarding Comcast's copyright infringement policy,
procedures, and contact information, please read our Acceptable Use Policy by
clicking on the Terms of Service link at http://www.comcast.net.

    Sincerely,
    Comcast Legal Response Center

If I were you, I'd delete all your downloaded shit on your computer. Or at least back it up somewhere.

Yes they left other parts of the message saying contact info etc. and listed what it was they knew I had downloaded with the time and program used and link to the download.

Yeah, sounds like it's legit. First offense, they'll probably just ask you to scrub your hard drive of all your downloaded shit and tell you never to do it again. That's why I store all my downloaded shit on CD's and delete them from my hard drive after they've been downloaded and burned.

no reason to be scared... absolutely none.... believe it or not... they said plainly in the letter, breeching their TOS can result in suspension/termination foyour account... just get a new ISP if they do cancel it... end of it.

I would not risk downloading stuff with that ISP...they could be monitoring you now. Its up to you though...

If you switch ISPs though, then theres no worries.
