    constant 78 degrees...should i be concerned

ive never had this happen before.... my room has always gone between around 72-82, now all of a sudden it is a constant 78 degrees and my intake is not kicking on due to the lower temp than normal... my concern is that with my intake not kicking on, the room will just be full of shitty air... i have an exhaust running as soon as my light kicks in with circulating fans still on in the night time... im likeing how its not using power, but should i be concerned??? i mean it is middle winter and about -10 out now but wow im just boggled.... is there a possibility my 1000w ballast is not putting out the power it was days ago??? its a new bulb so the bulb should be A-ok.....any suggestions????

hmm i can't answer your ballast/bulb questions, but i can tell you that 78 degrees is a perfect temp. and as for the stale air thing, if you have fans blowing around in the room along with an outtake- it should be totally fine. that's actually what i have going on in my closet grow right now- an outtake but no intake. just rebuilt the room recently and the temps have been low so havent bothered to put the intake fans back together agian. anyways, you should be fine.

Nope you are fine, exchanging the air in a room even once a day is ok and will not harm the plants. There are many who use A/C and they never change out the air. You do need to keep a fan moving the air out from the underside of your leaf's to push out the old air and bring in fresh air for the stomata. Moving it above the canopy will mix in the old air with the new oxygen that the plant is producing so you air does not get toxic or anytihng like that to worry about.

Your temperature range is fine and I would not worry but keep an eye on them just the same.

    Happy growing
