From what I understand, testable levels can remain in the urine of occasional smokers for 3-10 days, up to 60 days for heavy users.

There are lots of factors that can influence this though... Since THC is stored in fat cells, if you are losingweight or exercise vigorously within a few days of testing, that could raise your levels.

Ya don't want to smoke right AFTER your test either... If low levels show up, but too low to be considered "positive" by industry standards, some places will test you again within a month or two.

Many newer tests test for masking/detox agents as well, and will flag you for it!

If your company goes to hair testing, they usually test about 1 1/2 inches of hair - about 3 months worth. Testing standards usually say there must be evidence of 3 occasions of use in the sample for it to qualify as positive.

Drug testing is a thorn in my side. If they want to check to see if people are under the influence WHILE they are working, I'm all for it. Anything else is A)irrelevant B) an invasion of privacy C) unAmerican

As a gainfully employed citizen, I'm wondering how much an individual can consume before it becomes detectible. Or stated another way, How often a person can take a few tokes, with a few days off work, and pass a random test? Also the largest enemy of any stoner has to be tolerance to the herb, forcing one to require more to achieve the same level of buzz.
