I paid 35 for the glass base (with shitty glass slider and downtube which I upgraded), I do clean it often, and change the water but I don't scrape out all the brown resin that you see caked everywhere (saving that for a rainy weed day I guess).

25 for slider

12$ for diffusers.

a downpipe, with extra holes at the bottom of the tube on the side, just above the main hole that the smoke flows through to enter the water.

I went and got a new diffuser for my roor which has been innactive for about a year due to a broken downpipe and laziness. but now, I love it.
