Certain industries(alcohol industry, tobacco industry, textile industry, oil indudtry, etc.) would suffer if cannabis were legalized(because cannabis is so damn useful!); so they lobby to the government to keep it illegal. Another main factor is that, were the government to legalize cannabis, first they would have to admit that they were wrong in criminalizing it to begin with. And I'm Rating: 5
