wet weed....?

Alright well i picked up last night from my boy and he let me know that the batch is still a bit wet...So whatever i picked it up and the weed is no doubt chronic but the shit was real wet and barely ground up in my grinder. Cpl questions; do u think that the pot being so wet added a significant amount of weight to my eighth? Like did i really only pay for 3 g's vs. 3.5? What do u guys do to dry ur shit out?

Not so good

Leave it out for say 45 mins to an hour if you like a bit of crispy - if it takes longer than that then its still too wet and you got ripped.

Weed is 70-85% water when fresh so you do the math. If you can weigh it then do that now and then leave it out to dry - check the difference.

Some weed seems "wet" though when its really resinous - can't tell without looking

Never buy wet weed. Like delta said, weed is 75 - 80% water, so you've been ripped off.

Also the buds will shrink by about a 3rd as they dry.

i wish i was your dealer..no i dont dealers suck ass...but anyway you got what you deserved he told you it was wet. everyone has said how much water is in it already..but just so you know dryed weed contains like 8-12% h20.....so yes there is alot of water weight in fresh bud..oh well i like the minty fresh taste just hit with a crack lighter so you burn the thc and not the garbage plant matter

i got this wet weed for cheap and i went to jail for four months and when i got out i still had it, it was awsome, good crystals and shit, even though the weed may not look good cuz its cry, if ou let it get done dry, it will look much diffrfent!

Also, wet weed is not as potent as properly dried and cured bud. Curing not only breaks down chloropyl and the like, but also activates more cannabinoids.

lip i am not starting anything here, but i do disagrea bud does not get more potent from drying and curing. the thc level may increase a little, but it should not be noticeable. now the skunky smell improves from drying. wet bud smells like mint and catpiss to me. curing does nothing but improve the flavour. i would recomened always to dry and if you have time cure

whack it on your window ledge out of the baggie and leave it for a couple of hours and it should be ok

Been there done that! Never ever buy wet weed! I did once, and i was stupid and put the shit in the oven to dry! basically you get ripped off big time! and when I smoked that oven dried shit it was nasty and made me and my wife sick the next day! best way to let it dry out is just lay it out to dry...if its allready a bit ground up from your grinder then thats ok, will just dry a bit faster hope it drys out properly and gets ya stoned anyway!

Ok, im not starting anything either, spesh not after last time, but belive me, the curing process activates more cannabinoids and cannabinols which work with the THC to give you the final high or stone. Its not a massive differnce, but there is certainly a differnce in the high.
