Finally, after more than a month of planning, searching, buying, building, spending over US$200, with all the joy and frustration that came along with it, I finally built a grow box of my own!!! This was no easy task, since I built everything from scratch excluding the lights, ballasts, and fans. But everything else I basically painstakingly siliconed/screwed/hammered/sawed together. I am currently converting a small dresser into a cab its like 3 1/2 ft tall 20"deep and 2ft wide. Its going to be a 1 plant scrog. Durr i need to find some sweet ass fem seeds tho, if any ones got a good fem seed of valued price i need a good one. Cooltube and my 400wtt, im have a 465cfm fan and im not going to be using a filter any more so i can vent strait out a window. I think im pretty set, and im excited to put it together.

Nice box! I just built something similar.

Next time you build one, use "male adapters" for your thru-wall fittings. (These are the pvc or abs fittings that are male threads on one side and female plastic pipe on the other.) They make big retaining nuts you can use to secure the fitting in place. Mounting those intake pipes the way you did had to be a royal pain in the ass.

Amazing setup.. after I built my box I came back to this thread for ideas to mod my box for a vegging chamber.. I got a little bit more room then you hopefully I can put it to good use.
