It's nothing particularily new. Many people have "proven" the bible by it's "astonishingly accurate" prophecies. Unfortunately, many of the prophecies are things that are a) vague b) inevitable to happen at some point, and c)open to interpretation as one sees fit. Here's some listed:

Wicca has been practices for thousands of years, and it's pagan roots go further back than christianity. Per capita, I highly doubt there are particularily more Wiccan's than many other points in history. Regardless, the Wicca religion is not a "devil worship" religion. Rather, Christian doctrine seems to declare any non-monotheistic religion to be evil because it doesn't pander to their personal god. Paganism was particularily targetted because it was the prominant and obvious counter-faith in European society, but many other paths such as Buddhism, Taoism, Shinto, and Shamanism follow a similar path and do not acknoledge the rulership of the one almighty god. Buddhism, btw, predates Jesus by 500 years and has had many periods where it's followers largely outnumbered Christians, Jews, or Muslims.




OMG it's true, tonnes of people these days have no conscience! I mean back in the day when Ghengis Khan was conquering the known world, he at least felt bad about the millions of people he slaughtered... honestly....

How could we even measure the rate of homosexuality when we killed/imprisoned/excommunicated people for it if we found out? Homosexuality is also prominant in every mamilian species, maybe they're all going to hell as well. Though I find there's a distinct lack of explanation as to why being gay makes you an evil person, I personally think it's a product of cultural beliefs inserted into the region's holy text (you'll notice with ALL theistic beliefs, culture invariably inserts itself into religious doctrine).




Of course, because it's the natural biological drive in each and every one of us, and every other species. IT'S THE MOST IMPORTANT BIOLOGICAL MECHANISM RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SURVIVAL OF EVERY SPECIES. The sexual revolution is the product of a society waking up to the fact that religion has artificially made our most natural instinct an evil and shamefull thing, which makes no more sense than being ashamed of shitting, eating, or our innate nature to nurture our offspring.

Every single living organism loves pleasure based on the stimulation of receptors activating the reward centers of the brain. Add that to anybody who, like myself, believes God is an illogical concept, and lo and behold we enjoy pleasure more than god. Heck, even if you do believe in god, overcoming your biology is not a common occurence.




Just like they always have. Whether it be extreme stimulation of reward centeres of the brain, or deep mental exploration, or just curiosity, how could humanity NOT be interested in drugs?




Because I'm capable of basic reasoning skills and am not impressed by discustingly predictable prophecies that anybody with an IQ of 80 could see coming. I'm very disappointed by the authors intelligence; not in relation to me or atheists, but in relation to other theists with arguments that at least show some thought above that of a 5 year old.
