WTF.......Ice and snow in S.E. Texas?
I live in this house that's up on stilts here at Lake Livingston. I went to go take the trash down this morning (holding a cup of coffee in the other hand) and I noticed there was about 1/8" ice on the steps. So I'm steppin real slow when on the third step............WHAM.......there I went bumping my ass all the way down to the bottom. Fuck that hurt! Would have been a top 10 viewer on You Tube I'm sure. LOL

I know what you mean. I'm here in Central Tx. I had a 1/2" thick layer of ice on my windshield. I took one look at it and went back inside. Rent will have to be paid at a later date cause I ain't goin anywhere.
Thursday (today) is supposed to be a 'clear up' day, but Friday and Saturday its gonna get poured on. I'd love to see snow in San Angelo.
I'm fixin to drop by the c-store down the road and grab a cup of coffee and pack a black as the sun comes up.

Did that exact thing, on the exact same step too funny enough, when that big ice storm came through in '97. Now we live in a house on ground level.

Yeah...you should see the bruise today. Huge, black, blue, and purple. Missed my tailbone by about 1/2". Lucky in a way I guess.
I was thinking......I lived in K.C. for about 12 years and in all that time I can't remember slipping and falling even once. I move back here and in less than 4 months I have an aching ass! Karma, I guess. LOL

I like the coldness. Makes me want to sit out on my balcony and do what I do.

I know what y'all mean. However, I am in Iowa on a business trip and the actual temperature here yesterday was -10 degrees with a wind chill factor of -30 degrees. Now that's cold as far as this Texan is concerned. I miss the 30-40 degree weather!!
