My TV is currently being used as a base for a bunch of candles. I'd like to hook it up to a DVD player so I can watch ATHF reruns in bed... but I have no idea how.

I would like to beat Simon endlessly with a large stick of some kind. I can't stand the show!

Makes me wonder why people even bother. I mean, Clay who? And that other fat guy with the grey hair who? All the winners on that show will be doing nothing more than a 9-5 job in 5 years. They dissapear.

All in all, it's a kareeoke(sp?) contest. I can't even spell.

acctually thats not true, at least for all of them...kelly clarkson has won a grammy or some shit like that, and carrie underwood (who was my fav. cuz she's country) is like one of the top female vocalists in country music, and has already had a few number one hits, and has gotten a slew of awards. And it's not all cuz she won that show....that girl can belt out a fucking tune.

I don't object to the show in concept. I prefer reality shows and talent contests to sitcoms any day. But it must come on at a time I'm never watching TV because I've never seen it. I've just seen clips. From what I've seen, Simon Cowell is appallingly rude.

Yeah my mother was watching the auditions tonight...so of course I stopped to watch for a few. I kinda look up to these ugly people who can't sing for shit, but have the balls to go up there and try...it's 'nice' to see. Also, I like Simon and his truth...but when he started telling one of the contestants they looked like a monkey and shit...that went a little too far. I even told my mom I felt bad for the poor kid...

lol my mom always says the same things, that their appearance has nothing to do with how well they sing, but then she started cracking up over the fact that simon said he looked like one of those "bush babies".
