I feel for the people vouching for the joint, if rolled properly it is highly effective and highly discreet, but taste like crap after re-lighting and reek the place up if you smoke inside.

With a pipe or bong you conserve a lot less, if you get good shit like me you dont need a whole joint to get high, 2 or 3 bong rips is perfect, and pipes are so easy to use fast and in public.

You should definently get the pipe its a worthy investment for any stoner.

But a joint can be thrown away in an instant, peope wouldnt want to just throw a pipe away.

I'd say joints are alot more discreet, as it could look like a normal ciggie to most people [who dont know what a joint is]

It's only embering slightly, not enough to produce smoke, but still enough so that the joint doesnt go out. It takes practise to get them like that everytime, but belive me, it's very possible.

If you can get a joint to ember without smoking you're 40% of the way to getting a joint to burn for 45 minutes.

You should make a tutorial LIP, that would be pretty chill. I Can have joints not smoke most the time. But as for 45 minutes, mine at the longest last 10 lol.

Do you use a lot more weed in one joint? Or just pack it extremely tight?

Well, i normally use between 1.5 and 2 grams per joint, somtimes less. I supose it all depends. Tightness is an issue, but not too much of one. It's hard to get perfect because too tight and you can hit good, and too loose and the joint disappears in 2 hits.

I was going to make a tutorial but i need a camera to show what im talking about, and i havnt got one, so im waiting on a mate.

One day it'll be up here.

I might even make a video of me smoking one for 45 mins straight.. although it'd ahve to be on googlevideo as youtube dont do 45 min vids... then i can prove myself to eveyone... since hardly anyone can actually take my word for it.

i dont even know what your asking dude!
heres an overly descriptive explination..

pack a bowl(not too tight but enough to evenly fill it)
cover the carb if youve got one on the pipe
light the bud with fire while slowly inhaling, almost exactly like a blunt
let off the lighter and inhale, you want to keep the cherry(slang for smoldering bud) a constant size.
.if you got a carb on the pipe. right before you stop inhaling let off the carb and clear out the smoke from inside the pipe. carbs can bu used to stoke up the cherry by letting off really quick while inhaling. this is something youll have to learn on your own.

thats it
