1st harvest EvAr!

Ok, so I am about to harvest some NLxBBs. Last day of nutes was day ~34. I am on day 41 of flowering. Leaves are all starting to turn shades of yellow. Stigmas are 80% white.

I lst'd em so they have 4-5 good side branches and 1-3 main big colas per plant. Should I harvest the top 1/2 (which is cola) then a few days later harvest bottom 1/2 (which is branched bud)?

What do yall think about this:
day 41- Flush any/all nutes out of soil. (last watering)
day 46- Harvest top colas
day 48- Harvest bottom branched buds

any suggestions? They begin to wilt after 3 days without water. Also, they weren't really heavily fertilized i don't think. If the leaves are yellow, then does that pretty much positively mean that there isn't much N left? (if so, i don't think I have to worry about built up nutes in the plant/soil)

From what I understand, if the plant is starved for water, it will dry faster. How much faster? If I let it dry out and wilt, do you think I can get it dried and ready for storage within 2 weeks?

oh, one more question:

I understand the idea behind the breakdown into glucose while it hangs.

What if I were to simply clip the little stem of the budsites and let the bud itself sit and dry on a newspaper in the large drawer of my dresser? (i would rather not let bud hang around in my apartment)

do you have a 10-50x eye scope???

when the trichromes turn cloudy with a bit of amber thats when you want to harvest, most strains take 60 days to fully mature.

if you dont have one you really want to get one its one if the greatest tools next to the PH meter.
