Gavita bulb!!!
Hi GaGrown,
I had one of these at first, but when it came time to fire it up, it was bad (even though it was tested at the store before I left). The store replaced it with a different one, and I never got to see how well this ran. The store owner talked it up a lot. Said that the reflector built in helped a lot. I'm not sure, but I thought he said it ran cooler too.
Unfortunately, I didn't get to try it out, so I can't help you. But, I'll be watching your thread to see if it is worth it to check it out for my next grow.Practicing self reliance .... my first grow

Gavita bulb!!!
I hear that many Russian growers are using it with alot of success, but the Horti's are pretty reliable, but I haven't herd any negative stuff about it, so give it a try IMO and let us know.
Adieu

Gavita bulb!!!
Well I know the reason for the bulb burning "cooler" is because they say you don't need to use a reflector with it! Hell I ain't usin' no bulb without a reflector whether the bulb has a built in 1 or not! I'm about to get 2 from a dude that never used them. Like I said before,I use the hortilux 400,600,MH and HPS.I've never used another type! I just wanted to know who had and if there were any benefits from it!!!! I'll get them from him cause I can't beat the price for 2. He want's 75.00. He paid about 68.00 each.I'll get them and keep all posted of the progress! Thank's,FOLK's!
