Resin on the carpet

Hey, i'm new to these boards...But I was wondering if maybe someone could help me out here, I some how managed to get some nasty resin on my carpet. It's pretty dried up on there now, but I was curious if anyone knew some remedies that get resin out of carpet, or anything for that matter. Any info would be great thanks alot.

or get new carpet

alcohol (rubbing alcohol) then some soap like dawn, one of the grease fighting kinds...

heres a good solution if your worried about people noticing it, rub some feces on it, dont matter what kind.
people will never suspect that its hiding a resin stain.

by the way how did you manage to get a resin stain on your carpet

Keep it there as a reminder... I dont know what it'll remind you of, but does that really matter?

After you have tried everything else, give "Awesome" from the ".99¢ Store" a try. It is truly an awesome cleaner and we use it to clean pipes and get resin stains off my pants.

Isopropyl alcohol or whatever will take resin pretty much off of anything. Except cotton, it seems.
