May I suggest an 'announcements' block up at the top of the page -not IN the forums, since when this happens you can't access them- to let users know of any upcoming blocks of time when the boards will be down or excessively slow? Like on the highway where they have the big traffic info boards warning of traffic jams?
stinkyattic Reviewed by stinkyattic on . server is busy - hang on people hi guys, we have lately been experiencing more traffic + adding more modifications to our forum, which means = extra server load. we are working on the issue, so hang on guys it may take some time -will post updates- in the meantime, i suggest everyone copy/paste what they have written before they submit it, in case of this.
