Well, that depends what company were "applying" for.

If it's a small company they'd actually hire me as they could pay me less.

Or get a degree, go to another company and make more money. That's the scenario. Companies don't hold out for the one person who knows alot but works for less. If that's you, then you've undersold yourself.

Concidering i've been working for years, for the same company, i know how it works. It may be differnt in america, thanks god im never going to have to find out.

As stated in another post It's a known fact that a college degree brings in the cash period. It's no different in America. To argue otherwise is plain silly.
Another thing college does for you, broadens your horizons. Always good to have knowledge in 2 different fields.

And you'd be surprised how many people i've met with all these qualifications from doing tests on paper, but when they come face to face with a engine they dont know the first thing about it.

This sounds like you're talking about someone from a trade school. lol
Alot different than college. Who learns about engines on paper but doesn't get their hands on them? Sounds like a pretty crummy school system in your area. Glad I'll never find out.

Classrooms full of guys and girls who think they are the greatest thing on earth. I mean I get along with everyone fine, but mostly when I meet people I just sense this aura of assholeness. When a person doesn't have that however, I usually become friends with that person. Jesus, not again! This shit is getting old. Anyone else get tired of this same old shit? Rating: 5
