ugh....college most certainly is like high school. i go to school with a very large population of self-doting preppy cheerleaders and lacr osse players. it hard for a short haired hippy like me to pind peace amidst a sea of bobbling blonde ponytails and polo shirts

I loved high school. Did alot of drinkin' fuckin' and skippin'. I was even prom king/homecoming king. (small school ~100 per class)

I don't really know alot of people from class, everyone I know I meet at parties. I keep to myself while in class unless someone really has to talk to me.

Keep your school friends and your party friends separate.

Aren't you 16? and I did miss high school, but college really is a totally different game and it consists of a bunch of fuckin people trying to prove themselves to one another.

well.. apart from the skippin part but still, if you skip so much.. why even bother going? you can still do those 3 other things WITHOUT going college.. and you wont be wasting teachers time either

If you aren't going to college then you are most likely working. I refuse to work while I am still in school. I can work the rest of my life. (which i won't but you know what i mean).

You have to realize that college is alot different from high school. My professors don't know my name. They don't care about my grade. They could have up to 1000 students in their lectures in one day. (i go to one of the biggest schools in the US and we've actually got the biggest campus in the US)

As long as they get my $65k dollars in exchange for a degree, they don't care. I am not wasting anyones time which is why I go for classes where there are 4-5 tests and thats it. No assignments.

I agree billion, school is a waste of money.....its mainly about that piece of paper that gets you a $40k/yr job off the bat doing some job a monkey could do.

When I went to college to get my HS, the people there were awesome. I mean, there would be the odd one person who annoyed you, but that was only in my one class on my last year. It was due to being there for almost 2 straight years too. Doing upgrading is in a compressed time period. While HS is a jackoff session with Sept-June periods, in college, each class was in 3 months. All the lessons, plus final exam, so I guess after that long, I was at wits end and was very tired.

Anyways, sounds like this is HS to me. People aren't immature like they are in HS, think they "are the greatest thing on earth." That's HS man. College is pretty chill and not so judgemental.

How do you know they think they are the greatest things on earth? Did they announce it somehow? Or are these just things that you're imagining?

I'm a senior in high school now. I'm definately not ready for college. My highschool is full of people the total opposite of me and I'm fearing college will be the same. Just more people, lol.

It's a whole different group of people and a whole new world. It's the beginning of the start of your adult life. (scary as it is...I'd still rather be at home if given a choice. lol it's hard out here)

you know a lot of the time, people will be a jerk off to you, when they can tell you think they are a jerk off...

College is highschool plus, But get over it, there are a lot of people who go to college to learn and get the fuck out of there. Just meet the right people. You're not going to do so by thinking everyone is an asshole when you first meet people.

mostly when I meet people I just sense this aura of assholeness. When a person doesn't have that however, I usually become friends with that person.

No doubt youre a good person, but based off this i wouldnt invite you back to my place to smoke a bowl. I tend not to like people who dislike me for no reason.

Sorry to be standoffish what i should have said is the world is big, not everyone is the same. It's just prejustice is something that hits close to home.
