I tried the 'hand in the Turkey's ass' thing, but the poor bird got most distressed...

    No turkey, Proof!

Well, I guess it's a bit early for us, init!
I don't really understand this 'thanksgiving' lark....is it not just the Americans being greedy, and wanting two Christmases?

we don't really hand out presents on Thanksgiving. I know that F.D.R. (America's greatest president EVER) specifically set Thanksgiving to fall on the fourth Thursday of the month without exception (it used to come on the *last* Thursday of the month, and occassionally there are 5 Thursdays in November) to stimulate shopping slightly earlier.... so maybe it's not quite Christmas, but a nessessary pre-requisite to it?

either way i just think of it as a day for eating a lot of food at someone else's house.

by the way: i can't spell!

I'm heading to my cousins pad for a smoke out followed by the massive turkey dinner and all that good stuff... followed by a smoke session at the table before we play some cards or something to decide whos doing the dishes LoL
