Parents who never sleep

Like many teenagers whose parents disapprove of pot smoking, my only opportunity to smoke is while my parents are on vacation, or while asleep.

So when I am having a bad day and I decide, at some point during the day, that I want to toke up at night and relax to some downloaded tv shows and pretzels, I expect to be able to.

Unfortunately, I am cursed with the parents that never sleep. My mother is a normal human being who gets tired around 10PM, but my dad's TV addiction has led me to curse the Major League Playoffs, season premieres of 24, and the Golden Globe awards. I try to convince him that these shows are stupid, or that he can tape them and watch them the next morning, or that staying up too late is bad for you (even though they know I always stay up too late), but it never works.

Does anyone else have a problem like this?

Haha that sucks. If i were you id look into using a vaporizer. Itll get you blazed and leave virtually no smell. I dont have one but ive used them with friends in hotels and they work like a charm.

Hmm, I don't smoke often enough to spend the many $$$ on a vapourizer. I did make a lightbulb vape, but that is so that my neighbors can't smell it. I have no idea if it makes a smell on its own, though. If I smoke a joint, I dont smell any pot smoke, so I sure as hell dont smell any when I use my light bulb.

Haha dude I've got the same problem. Some nights my parents will head to bed and be asleep around 9 or 10 but then some nights they just sit out in the living room watching Law & Order or some other stupid show till fucking midnight... I hate those nights. When I'm really feenin' to toke up I just pack a fat bowl into the chillum and try to one-hit it all real quick out the window.

My moms always awake and my dad wakes up in the middle of the night always, but I still smoke in the bathroom all the time.

Dude I used to do that for months until they told me they could smell it all along.... then they sent me to rehab.

Haha really? That sucks. My parents have sort of caught me before. My dad happened to come into my room about one minute after I had finished (not because he could smell it but because he randomly decided he was gonna come in to my room at 11 pm and ask to borrow a movie) so he tripped out and told me I had better not be smoking. Since then I've been a lot more careful... making sure I jam a towel in the space between the bottom of the door and the floor and I set up a small desk fan so that it is blowing air out of my room to the outside and then turning on my tv. That was about a year ago and haven't had any problems since :smokin:

man that would suck, my parents are cool with me smoking and they pretty much know I'm stoned all the time, its funny because they can tell when I'm sober when with most kids it would be " are you stoned?" not "are you sober?"

nope, even before i told my grandma i smoked, she couldn't smell and my grandpa wouldn't know the smell... and i had my own room and they respected my privacy... i use to always toke up in my room...
