last night i was kept up for a good while trying to remember a scene from a movie, well i remember the scene perfectly, having troubles remembering where it's from...

anyways there's this reporter guy that's covering this story (i even think he pulled a dick move and basicly pushed someoen else out of the spotlight and forced his way into being the 'one on the scene') and then i believe it's the O from the hollywood sign comes flying and wipes him straight out...

so what movie is that from? i was thinking day after tommorow.. but i'm not so sure... i know it's from one of those 'end of the world/catastrophic global event' movies... i just dont' know which.

is it an older film? approximately when was it released. did it look 90's? was it big budget production?

Yes, that was from 'The Day After Tomorrow'.

I wanted to back it up, so I went to Wiki - 'Hollywood sign'...LOL..they have it all.

In a film/television section, it writes.....

In the film The Day After Tomorrow, the sign is destroyed by a tornado and kills a news reporter.

i would definately say it's 1995 or newer... the graphics in it were definately not pre-1994...
