Clones & Wilting..Hi there, well i've just done my first clones yesterday, into rockwool with roots dipped in clonex, rockwool presoaked with a drop of superthrive in the water, is it normal for the leaves to wilt a little until some roots are established, they are still lovely and green, just wilting ever so slightly. They are in a propogator under a 2 tube lightwing unit. Thanks for any advice Just A Beginner Reviewed by Just A Beginner on . Clones & Wilting.. Clones & Wilting..Yep - a little wilting is normal. Do you have a humidity dome on them?

Clones & Wilting..they can wilt a lil ..rock wool is acidic, could be a factor, plenty of moisture on roots, lack of water can wilt them. pik up some "vita grow anti-wilt" next time your at the grow store.

Clones & Wilting..
I found Wilt Pruf at home depot. It's not in the fert section, but in with the pesticides etc. as I recall.

Clones & Wilting..
Clones can be so suprising! One moment they may look wilty and dying, then you mist them and you can almost WATCH them standing back up... cannabis is a pretty amazing plant.
Ask at your fert shop for an anti-transpirant, which is the technical term for wilt-pruf.
I wonder if you can use neem oil? I neem my plants a lot and they get a nice glossy residue on them which I imagine makes them a bit less prone to wilting, it's just I wonder how much clones can take of the stuff? Hmmm...
