sometimes, it is right to hurt someone.
i believe that this is on of those ituations, violence doesnt solve everything but this guy sounds like he needed a good ass kicking... he might have never had one because people just walk away and ignore him.

Let someone else do it.

All violence does is essentially put mud on your face. People will never look at you the same way again. You'd be kicking a guy's ass who has more problems than you do. Feel good about how you have less problems, rather than expressing it in rage.
