The reason you can buy pipes is because they are tobacco smoking accessories. Thus legal. Once they are used for a illegal drug they become paraphernalia and is then illegal and confiscated.

If they used tobacco as a premise for searching, then anything gathered under a illegal search is exempt from use in prosecution.

You should take a look at what deal you signed with your residence, you probably signed a lot away. Iâ??m surprised they needed a premise to search.

Furthermore, forcefully taking away your tobacco, papers and salvia is called theft. And you may want to consider looking into that.

But donâ??t do anything unless you can prove it was an illegal search, otherwise they can get your for position of cannabis and paraphernalia. Iâ??d only do something if they try to do anything to you.

yeah get a lawyer... that case could be dropped faster then a drunk boxer... shit even i could get it dropped... but i haven't went to law school or anything lol. unless in the rules they mention they can search for any reason or some shit... i mean if you're 18 (obviously) tobacco is legal and doesn't warrant a search. the salvia i can understand... to someone that's not a pothead, it would look like weed.

That's why you don't live in dorms. I have lived on and off The Ohio State campus for years. Some of my friends lived in dorms and they smoked and shit in their rooms, they used fans and wet towels under the door. Get out of the dorms ASAP, I lived on campus since I was a senior in high school and I love it, college is so much fun, but living in a dorm is like living in your parents basement, you have a false sense of freedom.

I've got a good friend at USD who was caught with an ounce of chronic, 3 bongs ranging from 1 foot to 4 feet, a bubbler, some pipes, a grinder...oh, and a list of weights and prices.

Next time the poor bastard gets caught, he'll be kicked out of an exorbitantly expensive private school. Is he still smoking? More than ever.
