This reminds me of last winter.

Once I went to our local gove with a friend of mine to light up a few bowls. After packing the third or fourth bowl I put the green stuff in my pocket -- or so I thought.

When we got to the exit of the grove on the way home, I found that I didn't have the weed anymore. I must have checked my pockets 10 times. My friend swore he didn't have it, so we sprinted back to where we were. I saw the baggy from about 20 yards away, very visible on a patch of snow in the middle of the pathway.

Phew, we found it I thought. But my lucky streak was to be short-lived (and non-streakish) as coming towards me and my bud, about 10 yards away from the bag was the mother of another friend of mine, walking her dog.

"Hi there," I said to the woman, as I (quite literally) pushed my friend to go get the stuff. He stumbled a bit, and ran straight for the bag. Falling down on the ice, he grabbed the chron as he slid by and just about ran into the woman and her dog. It looked kind of cool.

She laughed and waved.

From there, we walked as fast as we could.

He was lucky the dog didn't freak out.

I'm certain she saw the bag. Haven't talked to her since.
