Bonnaroo tix are only like 30 more and there are so many better bands. TEP would be nice to go to, but its too expensive for only a few decent bands.

ROFLMAO - you guys have got me to laughing. I need to laugh - no smoke in 20 years will make you pissed off at the world, LOL.... Just kiddin'... Hell, I'm STILL looking, LOL...
All seriousness, I wish there was at least a way to PM people and meet up - mind you - I DO NOT WANT TO BE BANNED , Modfather - I just wish we could PM in PRIVATE and speak to one another. Common sense will tell you (like all those damned adult sex websites say) to not give out contact info until you converse mucho with other person. I fully understand the reasons put forth in the rules, and BobOng explained it well, also.
I know this is a LOT different, but I have meet many a great person from the GTO websites I'm members in. Cars and pot are two different things, I realize, LOL...
Earthy Dank, yea, I missed Frampton when I was young, so I am making up for it now - we have seats 14 rows back - dead center - or pretty danged close. I couldn't handle being up front anymore (Shoot, I'm 50, LOL), but they do have tables like Chastain and the Mable House Amphi which would be pretty cool. He's there both this Friday Night and Saturday night (we've got Sat. tickets) and they are cheap by today's standards at $37.50to $47.50 a pop, and the place is like the Fox, only outside - not a bad seat in the house.
So far this year, we've seen Paul Rodgers (ex-Free/Bad Co. lead singer)and B.B. King, both at The Fred in Peachtree City. Roger Waters (ex-pink Floyd bassist) at Phillips Arena, Loverboy at The Mable House, Def Leppard/Styx/Foreigner at HiFi Buys, and ZZ Top at Chastain. Every one of them was awesome, but amazingly, I enjoyed the 81 year old B.B. King the most, as he was telling stories, and jokes, and had the crowd by the nutsack! He was amazing! Matter of fact, every one of the ones we've seen this year have been great.
Here's a sidenote (sorry, I write LONG posts). The reason I have a desire to start back with Mary Jane after 20 years are A. The kids are all grown and gone - all six of 'em. B. At the Roger Waters concert, we sat beside a young couple, and the dude leans over and sez, "hey, you smoke weed?", and sticks a huge blunt in front of my nose. Now mind you, it's a SEVERE NO-NO to toke up at concerts these days (back in my day, a COP once turned on with us, but that's a whole 'nother story). So I thought about it for about, well, uh, a HALF A SECOND - and said "hell yea, fire that mother up." LOL, he did, I got four excellent hits, and it was off to the races. Needless to say, the second half of the concert was FANTASTIC! And last but not least, C. Guys just wanna get stoned!
Aussie Pink Floyd is coming to the Fox November 16 and 17 - the 16th they will be doing the "Wish You Were Here" album, and greatest hits, and the 17th they will be doing The Dark Side of the Moon album, and greatest hits. Anyone who has not seen them are missing out - it is just like being at a Floyd concert, except they fly a Kangaroo around the arena instead of a pink Pig, LOl...
Anyways, sorry to be so long, I'm just a lonesome head, with no smoke, and no one to talk to right now...
Peace, guys!

Hey Psycho4Bud, where did you find, "Don't Bogart That Joint", LOL.... Hell, that's as old as I am! I LOVE that song! There's another one that sez:
A proclamation was issued today,
By the government of the USA,
Up to 99 years in jail,
For illegal possesion and sell....
We'll how can they say they're right when they're wrong
I guess they've never been stoned!
It's so nice to be stoned,
It's so nice to be stoned....
If ANYONE could help me remember the name of the group, or the album, or ANYTHING about that one, I'll try my damndest to find it and buy it, LOL....
I just love those songs that are BLUNT and to the Joint, uh, oops, I mean POINT.....
Hehehehhe....
Peace,
Old Stoner

Bonnaroo is WAY more expensive, the only way it compares is if you get the early bird tickets before any of the bands are announced (those sell for $125-$130). I called for my tickets this year 10 minutes after they went on sale (after early birds sold out and Police were announced), and still the 1st tier tickets sold out. I bought mine and my girlfriend's tickets for about $450 on the pair. When I bought my sister's about a month later, it was $250. TEP's tix are around $150 if I remember right...
