New to Growing (Indoor from Bagseed)

I recently decided to start growing. The only seeds I have right now are bag seed. I was wondering, is it good to start on this? Also, could someone just list me some raw materials I would need to start growing? I really don't need this perfect high quality weed. I just want some stuff that will work for me and my friends to smoke on the weekend. I only have 15 seeds now and wanted to start with that. But the most important thing is, I don't want to spend tons and tons of money for all this, as I really don't need top notch stuff, just if it works.

Pretty much, all I have now is a big fluorescent light used for like hanging over a workspace in the basement.

If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated.

Sure, starting out with bag seed is a perfect way to go for a beginner, it's free and you can live and learn from the cheap seeds instead of the super expensive ones!!

As for the money you are going to put into it, you get what you put in. It can be a very expensive "hobby" and generally if you go cheap on what you give the plants, the plants will give you cheap results.

You may want to consider buying a HID lamp for your plants, maybe a 400 watter?
