If I was a professional football player, I could care less whether or not we won or lost. They make so much money either way.

If you cared less about winning or losing you wouldn't be a professional football player in the first place. Peyton Manning didn't become the high paid professional athlete he is today by "Not Caring" about winning or losing, i don't mean this in a mean way but.....that was a pretty dumb comment...

Well to be fair, Peyton can care all he wants about winning and losing, but throughout his career, he's done nothing but lose in big games.

this is one good reason why i dont' pay attention to sports.. no one leaves it at sports (sportsmanship) they take it to the next level of belittling other people's 'teams and thoughts' and claiming they know everything and blah blah blah... just causes more controversy that america doesn't even need... i've even heard of sports fans stabbing/shooting/beating the living shit out of people just becasue they represent (more often then not, not even loudly, just wearing the jersey or w/e) a team the other person doesn't like....

Alright, agreed your comments were inspired by drunk, blind-homerism, for your favorite team. I know all about it I am a Buckeye fan. You seem to be more level headed now. Plus what LT said is exactly right. You don't go to mid-field and dance on the other teams logo after BARELY beating them. The Patriot's showed no class last night, which is not the status quo for the Pat's. They are usually the bell cow of the league.

Did you watch when Miami stomped on the louisville logo earlier this year and got their asses handed too them, not that Miami is known for class but everybody thought it was a unsportsmanlike move on their part. Granted the Pat's won, but you didn't blow them out by any means. You have won Three Super Bowls, and your dancing on some teams logo after winning a divisional game? C'mon, even you got to admit that was dumb. It was uncharacteristic, the Pat's are a class organization and they lost just a little from partaking in some stupid T.O.-esque antics.

When the Bolts dragged the Pat's up and down the field in their own house last year I don't remember them doing or saying anything besides what a great tea, the Pat's are. It was dumb because the Chargers are VERY young and talented team that will only get better, they need a big play wideout, and well that is about it. Next year, do you think the Pat's want to play them in the playoffs, I wouldn't if I were them, the Chargers will be out for blood and motivated by disrespect, and we all know from the BCS National Championship Game last week how big of a part emotion plays in a football game.

Yeah, after it's all said and done...the Pats did go out of their normal zone of being humble and keep-quiet. I guess they were upset about the large amount of trash talking going on from the Chargers (Colvin said when asked). LT shouldn't have brought up Billy IMO...but he did...and it's done. I also saw that he said that he knows the better team won...so he gets some points for that (not that he cares what I or anyone thinks anyway).

Anyway...this might be one of the last years that the Pats can capitalize and further their dynasty...so I got a little excited about that. I still think the disrespect level is pretty even now. It was dumb like you said, but you know a young team like the Chargers were doing their best to get under the skin of the veteran Patriots. We really don't know the full story...noone does except those two teams. Even Rivers mentioned they might have been celebrating in a slightly similar manner had they won. No excuses though. All there is to do now is move onto next week, and hope for another trip to the Bowl...I know you being an OS fan...you know all about greed. Yes, we won three SB's...but you can't stop there. I want to see them push the envelope and become the greatest team to ever play in the NFL. I want to say that I was there when it happened. If not, then what a great run it was anyway.

Haha I know exaclty what you mean about greed. I live in Columbus and everyone feels like the season was a failure, even though we beat Michigan for the third straight year, beat two #2 ranked teams, won our conference, and played for a national title. But like being a Pat's fan, anything less than a Super Bowl is failure, here in Ohio anytihng less than an NC is failure.

Now everyone is leaving, hopefully Tressel can stop the hemmoraging, I feel confident we will be in the mix next year though like we always are.

Speaking of the NC game, it was whack. I still feel 9 out of 10 times we whoop the Gators ass. It just so happened they played their best game and we played our absolute worse game EVER under Jim Tressel, that was worse than losing to Iowa by 30 points.

I hear ya man...cheers to OS though...they are always doing their thing every year. If it weren't for stubborn, loyal fans like us...where would the fun be watching the games LOL. As long as noone gets hurt...nothing wrong with uping, downing, and straight debating sports.
