TheFatKid Reviewed by TheFatKid on 01-15-2007. I sent this email to Above the Influence. I wrote it up pretty quick cuz I had nothing else to do. Its kind of disorganized, but whatever. I've been smoking marijuana since I was 12. I am now 14, going on 15. I use the plant responsibly, and don't abuse it. I am not lazy. I am in the top 10 percent of the freshman class. Marijuana has given me a different outlook on life. It helps me study important ideas and philosophies. It cures the pain from the aches I constantly get in my body. My lungs are perfectly fine also. I would actually love it if I was arrested for admitting that I smoked on the internet. Then I could say how the government spent nearly $5000 to arrest me for smoking 1 blunt (they wouldnt be able to prove I smoked more) when they could have easily used that money to prevent 5 murders from occurring...But they would rather prevent someone from smoking 1 gram. It would really help the pro-marijuana movement out.

I don't think so. Prohibitionists don't see a waste of money, or measure the efficiency with which money is being used. They simply think "good, another damn drug addict off the streets and away from my kids".

It is really sad how this is actually happening, about how marijuana is illegal. It shows the government for its true self. I am expected to put my trust into this government, but how could I? How could anyone?
