    Apartment bathroom vents...

A quick question for a friend....the ducting from the bathroom fan to the roof of the building...is it isolated from any other suite?
I'm guessing yes, but I know nothing about it. I'm telling him to run some AC and build a sealed room...but you know, kids these daysimp:

If the apt.is a highrise,it was a commercial job and yes it would be vented to the roof via square duct and a series of fans to pull the exhaust out of the building as well as other baths. If it's a complex? then it will be vented to the soffit, via a flex line.
