Indica? Sativa? What is this stuff?

Hey! I am new to the whole pot smoking thing. I just bought some bud from a guy I don't really know, so I don't know if he is trusworthy or not.
I haven't smoked it yet and if I got ripped I would like to see if I can return it unsmoked.
He said it was high kb (something like that), and that it was the best he had.
I paid $65 for an eighth.
It has a sweet, pungent smell and has no visible seeds.

Was I ripped? Can you tell if it is indica or sativa? Maybe what strain?
Is it even an eighth?

Help me I am a noob and would like to learn.

ok first off $65 for an 1/8 is fucking ridiculous. I would pay $45 for that tops. But hey dont "return" it... there are no refunds in the world of weed. it looks good but def not worth $65.

That could easily be an 8th. Im only reguarding the quality of the weed. 65 for that quality of weed is crazy. You've just started though and hopefully learned your lesson. You'll learn as things go along. Just start paying more attention whenever your around people who have been smokin for a while. Happy Tokin.:rasta:
